Thanksgiving 2006

This was the best of four Thanksgivings out in Nevada County with my family. My brother Ted booked a table at the Five Mile House on Hwy. 20, a nicely remodeled diner which is done so that it makes you feel like you're at Lake Tahoe or somewhere. My brother John, wife Mary and son Wes, Ted's son Kevin, and my mother and I completed the guest list. The turkey and fixin's were great, the dessert left something to be desired. Nonetheless, the occasion will be good memory material for when I am stuck 5 or 6 hours from nowhere in the Amazon basin starting a week from now!
